Tonight’s pick of the day is Anthony Davis of the Pelicans. There was just a release of news of Demarcus Cousins being ruled out tonight. This has me licking my chops for an insane matchup for Davis against the Rockets. All the usage will be there for him just like good old times. Davis is priced at $11,200, which is very acceptable with Cousins out of the picture. Expect Davis to feast tonight at home against a terrible Rockets defense. He needs around 55 fantasy points to reach value. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets in the 60’s or even 70’s. Lock him in your cash lineups tonight with a lot of confidence.

Tonight, the pick of the day was pretty obvious to me and seems to be the chalk. The Clippers are sitting both Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordon tonight for rest purposes, leaving a lot of minutes to be had by the back up big men for the Clippers. Speights is the pick of the day, who should see at least 20 minutes tonight with a decent usage. At a minimum salary, it’s pretty tough to pass up on Speights in cash games.

Yesterday was one of the lowest scoring nights of the year for NBA fantasy. Just about everyone failed to reach value. Having said that, Paul George’s 31 fantasy points as the pick of the day yesterday wasn’t too bad. Tonight, I’m rolling with a guy who has really had the hot hand as of late in Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. Booker is really coming into his own as a professional and has really showed his confidence and effort on the court. He is priced at $6,600 tonight, but for a good reason. He has reached over 30 fantasy points in has like 4 games and should continue to do so in a great matchup tonight against the Kings. I feel that his opponent Buddy Hield is going to have a lot of issues covering him tonight because of the strictly offensive mind that Buddy has. Expect Booker to get you right up over 30 fantasy points to reach value for you tonight.

Pick of the day continues to crush 5x value. Lets keep the streak going by picking Paul George of the Indiana Pacers. George has been in fantastic form since the all-star break and is finally starting to live up to his hype. He sees a great matchup tonight against the Knicks, which should be an up-tempo game. George needs 40 fantasy points to get value tonight, which shouldn’t be an issue at all. Lock George in tonight at SF.

Last night’s Pick of the Day in Kristaps Porzingis once again crushed his price tag for over 6x value. Tonight, though, we’ll be going with more of a value play in Patty Mills of the San Antonio Spurs. Mills got the spot start 2 nights ago with Tony Parker injured and put up 30.4 fantasy points in only 21 minutes of action. Tonight, however, expect him to see upwards of 30 minutes with Parker and Dejounte Murray still sidelined. He’ll be facing an Atlanta Hawks team that doesn’t contain point guards very well, especially over their last 10 games in which they’ve given up an average of 52 fantasy points per game to the position. Expect him to reach 5x value tonight by getting upwards of 30 fantasy points.

Ian Clark crushed yesterday as he got over 11x his value which is the most of the season! I had never seen a minimum salary player get 40 fantasy points until last night. Tonight, I’m picking Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks. Porzingis has been in good form recently and draws a fantastic matchup tonight against the Nets. They are in Brooklyn so they will need his scoring production in order to win. Both of these teams are bad, so their shouldn’t be any blow out worries. I don’t see anyone on the Nets giving Porzingis issues scoring the basketball. Porzingis is also coming off of a 6 block game yesterday and should get some blocks against a Nets team that runs a lot of their offense through their big men. Expect Porzingis to reach his 5x value by getting a little over 30 fantasy points tonight.

Tim Hardaway Jr. didn’t disappoint us last night as he passed the 5x value he needed. Let’s keep it up here by going with Ian Clark of the Golden state Warriors. As we all know, the Warriors have decided to rest all of their starters tonight against the Spurs. I think that moves like this tend ruin the NBA and make it look bad. However, Clark is going to see a ton of usage in the starting lineup and should easily be able to pass his 5x value. You could stack him with all the other warriors backups who are starting as well tonight. Do not make the mistake of fading Clark tonight.

Last night’s pick of the day in Brandon Ingram crushed value by getting over 7x his value. This segment has been nothing but beneficial since it started. Lets keep it going tonight with Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Atlanta Hawks. Hardaway is a guy who has been very consistent for his new team and has proven to be trustworthy. I think the Knicks added insult to injury for their team by trading away this young talent. He draws a great matchup tonight at home against the Raptors. Whether Hardaway starts or comes off the bench, it doesn’t matter. He has been seeing up to 30 minutes a game on a consistent basis and has been reaching 5x value more often then not. Hardaway is a guy that I think will go a bit overlooked tonight and should be able to get up to 30 fantasy points where he needs to be.

Millsap just fell short of his 5x value last night but still put up a solid amount of fantasy points. Tonight, I’m going to target a projected high scoring and fast paced game with the Lakers vs. Suns. The pick of the day is Brandon Ingram. The Lakers seem to realize that this season is over and their best decision is to give their future a lot of run and time on the court. Ingram is still developing into the NBA and shows his inexperienced play, but with his low salary and high minutes, it’s tough to pass on him. His 4K price tag means he needs 20 fantasy points to reach his 5x value. I see him getting in the high 20’s tonight while playing around 35 minutes. Lock him in and watch the young talent reach value for you.

Last night was just another night where the pick of the day reached at least 5x value with Alan Williams. He was able to get enough points, even while fouling out of the game with a good portion of the 4th quarter left. Tonight, I’m targeting a higher salary guy in Paul Millsap of the Atlanta Hawks. He draws a dreamy matchup tonight at home against the Nets. The line is 10.5 here so I’m not overly worried about a blowout. Even if the game blew out, Millsap will need to produce for that offense in order to get ahead. He could still reach value in three quarters. Tonight, for Millsap to reach 5x value, he needs around 40 fantasy points where I see him achieving without too much difficulty.
