Cash Plays

Russell Westbrook ($13,400) – Though Harden has a great matchup tonight against Denver I think I’m more likely to fade him and go with Russell Westbrook against the Warriors in cash games. Russell has played very well in the 3 games against Golden State this year, and it’s obvious the Thunder will rely on him heavily to keep them in this game again. He should rack up an insane amount of fantasy points and is the star I’m looking to get in cash games tonight.

Will Barton ($5,800) – With Gallinari and Chandler both out again it will be another night in which Will Barton is heavily owned. He’s coming off a sub-par performance against the same Rockets team he’ll get to face tonight, but his price has also been lowered to accommodate that. It will be yet another high scoring game, so there will be plenty of fantasy points up for grabs. Barton should reach value with ease so make sure to get him into your cash game lineups.

Joe Johnson ($3,900) – I want to wait for the Jazz’s injury report to come out before I make any decisions as to whether or not I want any Utah guys in my lineup, though I think Joe Johnson should end up being a great cash game start. Both Rodney Hood and Derrick Favors are questionable tonight against Indiana and if one or both of them sits Joe Johnson’s usage goes through the roof, much like it has the past couple games. Keep an eye on Favor’s more, though, because if he’s out Johnson will get another start. The Jazz will be facing an Indiana team that have struggled to contain small forwards all season, especially over their last 5 games in which they’ve given up an average of 45.7 FP a game to the position.

Ersan Ilyasova ($4,500) – Paul Millsap has been ruled out with a knee injury for the Hawks matchup with the Hornets tonight. Filling in for Millsap on Saturday Ersan did very well, putting up 34.3 fantasy points in 27 minutes of action. I expect him to get the same kind of usage tonight and he has a great matchup against Charlotte, a team that has given up the 6^th most fantasy points to power forwards this season (45.6) and the 3^rd most over their last 5 games (52.6).

Nikola Vucevic ($8,000) – I think a lot of people are going to think Vucevic is over-priced tonight at 8k, but with a matchup against the 76ers I don’t see how he doesn’t get at least 40 fantasy points considering he’s on the court for about 30 minutes every game. The Sixers have given up the most fantasy points to centers this season and have been absolutely atrocious against the big man in their last 10 games, giving up an average of 63.4 fanduel points a game to the position during that stretch. At $8,000 I personally think Vucevic is under-priced for what he should be able to do tonight and am going to do everything I can to get him into my lineup.

(Note: Vucevic has a “game time decision” stamp next to his name, so make sure he’s active before locking him in. If he sits, I highly recommend starting Bismack Biyombo ($4,300) in cash games).

GPP Plays

Jeff Teague ($6,600) – Jeff Teague’s price is down from what I think it should be at, since I generally consider him to be more of a 7k and up kind of player. He hasn’t been too spectacular of late and he has a matchup tonight against the Jazz, two things that I believe will draw people away from him. However, if Utah is bad at containing a position it’s the point guard. The Jazz have given up 49.3 fantasy points a game to PG’s over their last 5 games, which is good for 10^th worst in the league. With what I expect to be a low ownership I think Teague is a great call in GPP games tonight.

Lou Williams ($5,500) – Williams will get to face the Rockets again tonight for the 2^nd time in 3 days. With two fast paced teams going at it I expected Williams to have a better game than the 19.7 fantasy point effort he turned in on Saturday. However, I think that is if floor tonight and his ceiling is much larger against a bad defensive team like the Nuggets. At $5,500 he only needs about 27 to reach value and I think he has a great shot of doing that tonight at the Toyota Center.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ($5,100) – Kidd-Gilchrist will be facing the Hawks tonight, one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to guarding the small forward position. They give up just over 45 FP a game to small forwards and he really only needs half of that to reach value tonight. He should be able to fill up the stat sheet so make sure to get him into your GPP lineups.

Ryan Anderson ($4,300) – I don’t necessarily love any power forwards in tournaments tonight, so I’m going to go with a guy that has serious upside and low ownership consistently: Ryan Anderson. He’s ridiculously cheap now that he’s strung together 3 straight bad games, but he also has the upside for 40+, which at this price makes him a great GPP play. His main job is to score, which is great news considering the Nuggets/Rockets game should be a high scoring affair.

Al Horford ($6,600) – It looks like another night where I pick on Washington’s frontcourt because I’m going to go with Al Horford of the Boston Celtics as my GPP center. Washington has continued to be awful against the big man and at $6,600 Horford should easily be able to score 30+ fantasy points and reach value, though he has the potential for even more. The Wizards are giving up close to 60 fantasy points a game to centers and I’m looking forward to watching Horford run all over their defense tonight.

Cash Plays

Ricky Rubio ($7,500) – Ricky Rubio has been absolutely tearing the league up, posting over 30 fantasy points in 14 of his last 15 games. Considering most player’s prices are ridiculously high tonight because of the small slate, I think most will jump all over Rubio’s small price tag. He only needs a little over 35 to reach value and will be facing a Pelicans team that have given up the 3^rd most fantasy points to point guards this season (51.6).

Josh Richardson ($4,100) – With Dion Waiters sidelined tonight I’m going to be looking to target Josh Richardson in cash games. He’s only priced at $4,100 and has proved to us earlier in the year that when given court time he can really produce. I’m probably going to get him in my lineup tonight only because he’s a lock for another 30 minutes, which he should easily be able to score 20 fantasy points in.

Paul George ($8,400) – I like Paul George tonight because he’s seems reasonably priced over the other small forward options above him. He doesn’t have the greatest matchup as he goes up against a tough Raptors squad, but he has been tearing it up lately, posting 40+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. I think his recent production is enough for people to plug him in tonight and, therefore, he is a viable cash game option.

Anthony Davis ($11,400) – I don’t really love the options at power forward so it may be a spot where I look to reach up tonight, and Anthony Davis has a decent matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Davis hasn’t really reached value over his last few games, though he has scored 48 in his last 2, and I’m not going to get mad at a star play for only getting me 45-50 fantasy points. His minutes will be there and I think he’ll be eager to go up against fellow Kentucky Wildcat Karl-Anthony Towns.

Jusuf Nurkic ($6,300) – Nurkic had one bad game in between his long stretch of consistent fantasy performances. For me, that one bad game doesn’t draw me away from him considering he did have a tough matchup against both DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis. Tonight, though, he gets a much better matchup against the Miami Heat. Though Hassan Whiteside is a big body inside, the Heat actually give up about 48 fantasy points to opposing centers per game, which is in the bottom half of the league. The Blazers are going to need his physicality inside against Whiteside and I think Nurkic should easily be able to score, rebound, and reach value tonight.

GPP Plays

Darren Collison ($5,700) – I like both of the Kings point guards tonight against a Spurs team that has actually been giving up a ton of fantasy points to point guards in their last 5 games (52.7). Between the two, however, I’m going to have to go with Collison because he has shown he has 40+ point fantasy upside on more occasions. The matchup with San Antonio should be enough to draw enough people away from him, making him a great tournament choice tonight.

Buddy Hield ($4,400) – I’m going to keep my GPP picks going with another Kings player in Buddy Hield. Hield has worked himself into Sacramento’s starting lineup and has had some great performances, though he’s also disappointed a few times. Tonight, however, Tyreke Evans is listed as questionable and may not be able to go again, opening the door for Hield to see another 30 minute game. He didn’t do much with it last night against OKC, but I think the story will be different tonight against a Spurs team that gives up 45+ fantasy points to shooting guards a game.

Solomon Hill ($4,100) – Hill went off on Friday for an insane 49.7 fantasy points in 38 minutes of action. This is obviously an outlier from his other performances, but he actually does see that many minutes frequently. I think the same is true for tonight’s matchup with the Timberwolves, and I also think he’ll be eager to prove the game wasn’t a fluke. He won’t reach those same totals tonight, but he should have the confidence to throw up some extra shots. At only $4,100 he’s not that risky of a play, but he brings some serious upside.

Skal Labissiere ($4,200) – Labissiere is another guy priced down around 4k that I’m choosing because of one big game he had last week, a 46.2 fantasy point outing against the Phoenix Suns. The matchup us much tougher tonight against the Spurs, but he is seeing some extra court time and doing a lot with it. Since he provided that huge upside in the game last Tuesday I’m going to give him the nod as my GPP power forward tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas ($5,400) – Valanciunas generally only sees 25 minutes a game, if that. This makes him a slightly risky play in cash games even though you know he can score and rebound. In tournaments, however, he is generally a great play for the same reasons, along with the fact that he’s shown he has 40+ point fantasy upside. He’ll be facing the Pacers tonight, a team that has been giving up an average of 57.7 fantasy points a game to centers over their last 5. Valanciunas should be able to feast.

1. Cash Plays

Jamal Murray ($4,400) – We’ve seen Murray get more minutes over the last 3 games, averaging 25 over his last 3. Though he’s still not starting, his bench production is hard to pass up given his price and his matchup. The Denver/Houston game will be ridiculously high scoring and Murray could reach value based off the points he scores in the game alone, not to mention the other stats he’ll fill the box score with. He only needs 22 to reach value and, given that he’s basically a lock for 25+ minutes now, I don’t see him having any trouble doing that.

James Harden ($11,800) – Tonight the Rockets/Nuggets game has a 240 o/u, which is the highest of the season. Basically, it would be a bad move to fade Harden given that he ‘s a lock for 60+ fantasy points. Denver is giving up the 2^nd most fantasy points to both the point guard and shooting guard positions, along with giving up close to 111 point per game. There will be so many chances for Harden to get points tonight and he should have absolutely no issue getting 60-70 fantasy points and reach value for you cash game lineup.

Joe Johnson ($3,900) – Johnson has been seeing close to 30 minutes a game with Rodney Hood and Derrick Favors sidelined, which will be the case yet again tonight as the Jazz take on the Bulls in Chicago. At $3,900 Johnson is a safe cash game pick against a Chicago team that is in the bottom half of the league in total fantasy points given up to the small forward position (41.7 a game). Make sure to get the veteran into your lineups.

Nikola Jokic ($10,700) – Jokic is another guy that should greatly benefit from the large o/u of the Rockets/Nuggets game. With such a high scoring game there will be plenty of opportunites for Jokic to showcase his skills. Faried is back in the Nuggets rotation, but even last game when he saw some minutes it didn’t take away from the court time Jokic generally sees. He’s a lock for another 30+ minutes tonight against a tough Houston team, though they do struggle defensively, giving up the 4^th most fantasy points (50.1 a game) to opposing centers (I know Jokic is a power forward but he should be starting at center tonight).

Mason Plumlee ($6,000) – Mason Plumlee is going to round out our stack of Denver players in our cash game lineup. For the same reason as his teammates, Plumlee should have no trouble scoring and grabbing boards tonight given how fast paced the game should be. Also, he will be getting plenty of minutes as he switches between the 4 and 5 positions for the Nuggets. As previously noted, the Rockets are awful against centers. At $6,000 he only needs 30 fantasy points to reach value, which the Rockets are basically going to give him with how bad their defense has been.

GPP Plays

George Hill ($6,000) – George Hill is so inconsistent that he’s a GPP play just about every night. The fact that he sees 30+ minutes just about every game and is only $6,000 is what makes him enticing, in my opinion. He only needs 30 to reach value but brings 40+ point fantasy upside anytime he takes the court. With a matchup against a Bulls team that is giving up by far the most fantasy points per game over their last 5 I don’t see him having any trouble reaching value. I strongly recommend considering Hill in GPP games.

Bradley Beal ($8,500) – Beal is extremely over-priced and hasn’t hit value in his last 4 games after an amazing performance against the Kings at Golden 1 Center. He’s still seeing well over 30 minutes a game of late, but just hasn’t been able to do much with it. Because he has been less than spectacular I expect many to pass on him tonight, which is great news considering he’ll be facing a Hornet’s team that is giving up the 4^th most fantasy points to shooting guards over their last 5 games. Beal should actually be able to come close to his price tag tonight and still has the same upside he showcased against the Kings only 5 games ago.

Jimmy Butler ($8,700) – With so much value at the small forward position I don’t expect to many people to be reaching up for a high priced guy, let alone Jimmy Butler who has an awful matchup against a Utah Jazz team that is giving up the least fantasy points to the position. However, at under 9k I still really like Butler due to Wade’s recent season-ending injury, which has put the majority of the scoring load on Jimmy Butler. I don’t really expect his price to be this low for the rest of the season so I recommend taking advantage of the fact that he only needs a little over 40 to reach value.

Blake Griffin ($8,600) – I like Griffin for a lot of the same reasons I like Butler. His price is way down due to lack of recent production and he doesn’t have a good matchup tonight against a Cleveland Cavaliers team that is great at stopping power forwards. However, at $8,600 I think it’s safe to roll with a guy like Griffin who has serious 60+ fantasy point upside when he can get things going. The Clippers are going to need him to help keep them in the game and I think he’s a great call in tournaments tonight because of that.

Cody Zeller ($5,000) – I’m going to keep picking on the Washington Wizards and go with another center who will be playing against them tonight as my GPP pick, Cody Zeller. Lopez was able to go off for 40+ last night against them, keeping Washington’s bad streak against big men going. They’re usually pretty good at defending the center position, but have been exceptionally bad over their last 5 games, giving up an average of 54.7 a game to the position. For a guy that only needs 25 to reach value I think Zeller bring serious upside against such a lackluster defense and can easily keep Washington’s bad streak going. I would strongly consider Zeller in your GPP lineups.

Cash Plays

Tyler Ulis ($5,400) – Eric Bledsoe has been benched for the remainder of the season, a decision that has opened up a crazy amount of minutes for young Tyler Ulis. The 21-year-old saw 39 minutes against the Kings on Wednesday, putting up 13 points and 13 assists for 38.7 fantasy points. He’s got a great skill set and should have no problem reaching the 25-30 fantasy points he needs tonight. However, given the fact that he is now the main floor general I think he has a chance for an even bigger game tonight, so make sure to get him into your lineups.

Marcus Smart ($6,300) – Isaiah Thomas has already been ruled out for the Celtic’s next 2 games, which includes tonight’s tilt with the Brooklyn Nets. This is great from a fantasy perspective when we consider how well Marcus Smart has played when Boston has needed him to step up this year. Even if the Celtics pull away from Brooklyn, there will still be plenty of minutes for Smart to reach value. Fanduel did raise his price over 6k for the game knowing everyone would probably flock to him, but I still think he will be a heavily owned shooting guard that gets plenty of usage.

Jimmy Butler ($8,700) – Jimmy Butler is yet another pick that’s based on the fact that he’ll have some increased usage tonight. Dwayne Wade has been ruled out for the rest of the regular season and Fanduel wasn’t able to raise Butler’s price (it actually dropped from last game). At under 9k Butler should be extremely owned at the small forward position. He could see upwards of 40 minutes again tonight as the Bulls attempt to figure out how to split time amongst their rotation. He’ll be facing a Washington team that could be without John Wall and that are in the bottom half of the league in total fantasy points given up to small forwards.

Tobias Harris ($5,500) – Harris has now scored at least 20 fantasy points in his last 8 games. For a guy that only needs a little over 25 FP to reach value tonight he is a very safe start. I think most people will be starting him due to his recent production, so he’s also safe in that sense. The Pistons will be going up against a Toronto Raptors squad that have given up the 7^th most fantasy points to opposing power forwards all season. Harris is in a great position to do well against them tonight.

Alan Williams ($5,800) – Both Alan Williams price and fantasy production are staying put, which is great news considering he’s averaging over 30 fantasy points per game in his last 8 contests, with a low of 22.5 and a high of 37.1. His consistency has made him a cash game option for almost 2 weeks straight and that will continue tonight as the Suns will be at home to take on the Orlando Magic. Rather than buying up for a center that doesn’t have that great of a matchup I recommend going for a middle-priced value option like Williams.

GPP Plays

T.J. McConnell ($5,500) – T.J. McConnell is one of my favorite players. I love pass first point guards and that’s exactly what he is. Rather than do too much of one thing he just stuffs the stat sheet, which is what I mainly look for in fantasy players. And he’s the main point guard in Philadelphia, so you know his minutes will be there from game to game. His best games come when he can score 10+ points because you know he’s got a great shot at a double-double with the way he passes. He’ll be facing a Dallas team that is struggling to defend point guards since they gave the starting job to Yogi Ferrell, so I think McConnell is in a great position to do well against them tonight in Philadelphia.

DeMar DeRozan ($9,300) – DeRozan has been less than spectacular lately, posting fewer than 40 fantasy points in each of his last 3 games and not coming anywhere close to value. Mix this with the fact that he’ll be facing a Detroit Pistons team that is tough against shooting guards and you’ve got a star caliber player with low ownership. However, Kyle Lowry is still out and DeRozan is still a star caliber player that is taking most of the shots for the Raptors. He has the potential to go way over his price tag any game and I think tonight is a good time to take a risk on him and see if he can get it done.

Bojan Bogdanovic ($4,100) – Last time Bogdanovic was in our GPP plays he went off for close to 40 fantasy points and was in every tournament’s winning lineup. He generally has a great scoring game every 2 weeks and is in a great position to have one tonight considering it’s been 10+ days since his last explosion. He’ll be facing a Chicago Bulls team that is in the bottom half of the league when it comes to containing the small forward position.

Gorgui Dieng ($5,300) – Considering Dieng’s price is only $5,300 and he averages 30+ minutes a game I think it’s safe to roll with him tonight against the Heat. Thibodeau changes Dieng’s minutes around every game depending on how they want to approach a specific team, but since he saw at least 25 minutes in the last matchup with the Heat I think you should be fine to plug him in and let him go to work against James Johnson, Hassan Whiteside, and the rest of the Miami Heat.

Robin Lopez ($4,500) – I’m not usually a Robin Lopez fan, but his matchup tonight is too good for me not to write about. He’ll be facing the Washington Wizards, a team that is generally pretty good at defending the center position. However, over their last 5 games they are in the bottom 10 in the league in total fantasy points given up to the position a game (52.9). Everyone on the Bulls is going to have to step up slightly with the Wade injury, including Lopez. Given the fact that he generally excels in these kinds of matchups I definitely like him tonight against a recently lackluster Washington defense.

Cash Plays

Chris Paul ($9,800) – Both Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan did not make the trip to Denver with the team, so both are inactive tonight. Paul had an awful game yesterday but the usage he will get tonight against the Nuggets makes it hard to fade him. Denver is also one of the worst defensive teams in the league, so there will be plenty of fantasy points for Paul to get tonight at the Pepsi Center.

Will Barton ($5,300) – Both Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari have been ruled out of the game tonight, meaning Barton will see a lot of extra minutes against the Clippers. Los Angeles is a good at defending shooting guards, but considering Barton is only $5,300 I don’t think he’ll have any trouble reaching value, especially if he gets the 30+ minutes I think he will.

Carmelo Anthony ($8,400) – Carmelo and the Knicks lost to the Nets just 2 games ago in Brooklyn. Tonight, however, they get a home matchup against the same Nets team and I don’t necessarily think Carmelo wants to lose to them twice in one season. Brooklyn give up the most fantasy points to opposing small forwards (47.5 per game), and I don’t think playing Anthony is going to help improve that statistic. I expect him to easily get the 42 fantasy points he needs to reach value and even offers more upside tonight.

Nikola Jokic ($10,600) – Though I do like Will Barton with all of the Nuggets players sititng out, I like Nikola Jokic even more. He’ll be going up against a Clippers team that has great numbers when it comes to defending the power forward position, however, as previously stated, Los Angeles will be without DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin, their two best big men. Don’t let Jokic’s price scare you away from him tonight. He should have an easy road to 50+ fantasy points and you’re going to want to have him in your lineups.

Nikola Vucevic ($7,700) – There aren’t a whole lot of options tonight at the center position. People are probably going to go a variety of different ways, but I’m going to focus on the highest price guy on the slate: Nikola Vucevic. After sitting out due to injury for much of last week Vucevic has come back strong in his last 2 games, posting 39.2 and 45.8 fantasy points in those 2 contests. He gets a matchup I always like for centers as he faces the Golden State Warriors tonight, a team that is giving up over 50 fantasy points a game to centers in their last 5 games. I think Vuc will score upwards of 40 fantasy points and is a great call in cash games today.

GPP Plays

Jamal Murray ($4,000) – Mike Malone finally gave Murray 30+ minutes in their last game and he didn’t disappoint, putting up 30.9 fantasy points. The Nuggets stated that they wanted to get Murray more minutes to end the year, but this was really the first instance in which we’ve seen them follow through with the statement. At $4,000 he only needs 20 FP to reach value tonight against the Clippers. If he sees anywhere close to 30 minutes again he is complete highway robbery at this price. He’s definitely a guy I’m going to plug into my GPP lineups tonight with his high reward potential.

Tony Allen ($4,100) – Tony Allen is always one of the riskiest picks when he’s on the slate. A guy mainly known for his defense, he generally doesn’t offer a whole lot of value from a fantasy perspective. However, he has strung together some great game this year and definitely gets the minutes to produce on a day-to-day basis. He’ll be facing an Atlanta Hawks team tonight that have been giving up the 4^th most fantasy points to shooting guards over their last 5 games (46.7).

Joe Ingles ($4,000) – Rodney Hood has already been ruled out tonight. When Hood has sat out this year Joe Ingles has filled in quite nicely and generally is a great GPP punt play. He should be getting the start tonight at shooting guard and only needs 20 fantasy points to reach value, which he has exceeded in his last 2 games. The Jazz will be taking on Cleveland today, a team that is actually one of the worst in the league when it comes to containing small forwards.

Juancho Hernangomez ($3,600) – I’m not exactly sure where Juancho’s own % will fall tonight with a lot of Denver players sidelined, though I do think most people’s attention will be on Jokic and Barton, making Hernangomez a sneaky GPP play. He’s just about as cheap as you can get and he’s not as risky considering it looks like he may draw a start. It depends on how much Mike Malone plays him, but the last time the Nuggets were super limited Juancho went off for 43 fantasy points. I think he has the chance to do that again tonight.

Tristan Thompson ($5,500) – I’m choosing Thompson as my GPP center because most will not be starting him considering he has a matchup against the Utah Jazz. However, his price keeps dropping even though he is playing at a relatively consistent level. He only needs a little over 25 to reach value tonight and I think with his physicality he can easily do that against a good Jazz team. If you’re looking for a middle-priced tournament center I think Thompson is your guy.

Cash Plays

Patty Mills ($4,400) – Patty Mills has filled in quite nicely as the Spurs starting point guard with Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray sidelined with injuries. He has put up at least 30 fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games and draws a fantastic matchup tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, a team that is giving up an average of 55 fantasy points a game to opposing point guards over their last 5 games. Murray has already been ruled out so we are just waiting on news for Tony Parker. Parker was upgraded to questionable but I see no reason why the Spurs would feel inclined to rush him back into action, especially with the way Patty Mills has been playing recently. Of course, make sure Mills is starting before you plug him into your lineup.

Jeremy Lamb ($4,900) – Nicolas Batum has been ruled out once again for tonight’s matchup with the Indiana Pacers. Lamb filled in nicely for Batum on Monday, putting up 34.8 fantasy points in 31 minutes. He should have absolutely no problem scoring around 25 tonight and that’s what he needs to reach value. Lamb will more than likely be the most heavily owned guy on the slate so you’re going to want to make sure you get him into your cash game lineups.

T.J. Warren ($5,900) – T.J. Warren has not scored less than 22 fantasy points in over a month. He’s on a consistent streak that always has him on my cash game radar, and that is exactly what is going on again tonight. He’ll be going up against a Sacramento Kings team that doesn’t contain small forwards well, giving up the 3^rd most fantasy points to the position (47.4) over their last 10 games. Warren has been scoring like the player we saw earlier in the year and I think his success will continue tonight when Sacramento comes to town.

Marvin Williams ($6,500) – Marvin William’s price is up a bit more than I think anyone expected it would ever be at, but to be honest I still don’t think it fully reflects his recent production. He has put up 44+ fantasy points in his last 3 contests and is averaging 37 minutes during those 3 games. He’s been the Hornets primary rebounder as well, averaging over 15 rebounds to go along with 17 points during that time frame. He will get a matchup tonight against an Indiana team that gives up right around 45 FP a game to opposing power forwards. He needs just a little over 30 to reach value tonight and I don’t think he’ll have any trouble doing that on the road.

DeMarcus Cousins ($9,000) – Cousin’s price is still down for tonight’s tilt with the Miami Heat in South Beach. Last night his price was 9k (which it is again tonight) and many took advantage of it, as he was close to 40% owned in cash games on the 5 game slate. Tonight, I don’t necessarily expect it to be that high with twice as many games and twice as many options throughout Fanduel. However, he has the potential to score 50-60 fantasy points any time he takes the floor, so the fact that he only needs 45 to reach value tonight makes him very intriguing. I expect many to think the same and plug Cousin’s into their lineups, so you should do the same.

GPP Plays

Eric Bledsoe ($8,000) – With some recent subpar performances I don’t expect too many people to be reaching up for Eric Bledsoe tonight. He hasn’t convinced anyone he has the consistency to go along with his price tag, which generally leads people to fading him out of cash game consideration. However, he has always maintained his place as an elite GPP play in my mind. At 8k he offers upside of 50+ fantasy points and could definitely be the reason why you cash in tournaments. He always seems to do well against his Pacific division rivals as well, which is the exact matchup he gets tonight as the Sacramento Kings come into town.

Lou Williams ($5,400) – I can’t be the only one that likes when a player faces an old team for a rivalry game, right? This one’s pretty fresh as well, considering the Lakers just traded Williams to the Rockets last month. I always feel like guys play with a chip on their shoulder when they go up against old teams, which leads to a desire to prove they made a mistake. I think Williams will try to take advantage of his court time and may even fire up some extra shots tonight against a weak Lakers defense. He’s definitely a guy I’ll be considering for tournament play tonight.

Maurice Harkless ($4,500) – After back to back performances of 5 or less fantasy points I assume most will do everything in their power to start anyone other than Maurice Harkless tonight. However, I have seen too much good out of this kid to just throw him to the side and forget that he helped me cash multiple times in the 2 last weeks. Evan Turner could be rejoining the Blazers for tonight’s matchup against San Antonio, but if he does sit I think Harkless becomes an ideal GPP play. His matchup and awful play of late should lead to a low own % and I highly doubt he has another sub par performance, even if he is going up against Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs.

Blake Griffin ($8,800) – Blake Griffin has been the definition of high risk/high reward since the all-star break, posting multiple games of 30 or less fantasy points and only one with 50+. That 50+ game did result in 43 points and 10 rebounds for an insane 65.5 fantasy points. Needless to say, he was in all of the winning GPP lineups by the end of the night. I think the same could be in store for him as he goes up against a Milwaukee Bucks team that is middle of the road when it comes to defending the power forward position. No one should really be looking toward Griffin in cash games, but his high upside makes him an ideal tournament play tonight at the Staples Center.

Kosta Koufos ($4,400) – Koufos sat out against the Magic on Monday for rest, but he will resume his center duties tonight against the Phoenix Suns. In his last 4 games, Koufos has played pretty well, putting up over 20 fantasy points in each of those contests. He’ll be facing a Suns team tonight that is giving up 54.3 fantasy points to centers over their last 5 games. I think he is in a great position to produce and should bring good value/upside to your GPP lineup.

Cash Plays

Russell Westbrook ($13,400) – A 5 game slate with Russell Westbrook in play generally leads him to have a high ownership. Mix that with the fact that he’s playing the Brooklyn Nets tonight and you have a night where most will probably not be fading the 28-year-old fantasy star. His price is over 13k, but for good reason. He’s posted over 70 fantasy points in 3 of his last 5 games and is averaging 68.2 FP over that same time frame. He’s definitely going to be owned tonight so make sure to get him into your cash game lineups.

Klay Thompson ($7,200) – There was one hiccup in his last 4 games in which Thompson posted under 20 fantasy points (17.5 to be exact). However, in the other 3 he has hit 40 or been very close to it, proving he has actually been the more consistent player for his price tag since Kevin Durant went down with an injury. He’ll need 36 fantasy points to reach value tonight against a 76ers team that is giving up over 46 fantasy points to shooting guards over their last 10 games.

Paul George ($8,100) – George is probably going to be a player many people target at the small forward position tonight due to his recent consistency. He has posted at least 30 FP in his last 7 games and gets a matchup tonight against a Knicks team that is giving up over 50 fantasy points to the position over their last 5 games. George’s price is right tonight as he takes on the Knicks in Madison Square Garden, so make sure to lock him into your cash game lineups.

Kristaps Porzingis ($6,600) – Kristaps has had a great start to the month on March, posting no less that 24 FP in his first 7 games and putting up over 40 fantasy points in 3 of them. Tonight he gets a matchup at home against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have a great individual defender at the power forward position in Thad Young, but overall against the PF position this year they are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points given up. The Knicks also go small frequently, allowing Porzingis to play stretch center. Because of this, I don’t think Young will give him any troubles and he should easily hit his 5x value by getting you over 30 fantasy points.

Jusuf Nurkic ($6,600) – Nurkic’s price is back down under 7k for his matchup against the Pelicans tonight, which is great news from a fantasy perspective. The 22-year-old Bosnian is a rising star in the league, and his fantasy production is backing it up. He’s posted over 30 FP in 7 of his last 8 games and had a massive 77 FP outburst against the 76ers last week. He’s proven that he is a consistent cash game play and is the center I will be targeting tonight in my cash game lineups.

GPP Plays

Steph Curry ($10,100) – With everybody reaching up for Russell Westbrook tonight it’s only reasonable to assume most will not occupy their 2^nd point guard position with another high-priced play like Steph Curry. This rules him out of cash game consideration, but makes him an ideal GPP play. He hasn’t produced like many thought he would since the Durant injury, but that also means he’s due for a big game. A matchup with the 76ers tonight puts him in a great position to produce, and he’ll need over 50 FP to be a solid tournament play.

Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot ($3,700) – Luwawu-Cabarrot has been seeing some increased minutes lately, averaging 30 over his last 2 games. It appears the Sixers are going to be implementing him more and more into the game plan and I think it’s only logical to use him as a GPP punt play tonight with his price still down under 4k. Given that he has produced in the court time he has been given I think it’s safe to say he’ll see at least 25 minutes again tonight, so he’s definitely a guy I’m going to consider in tournaments.

Solomon Hill ($3,600) – An inconsistent guy. There isn’t really much else to say about Solomon Hill. The Boogie trade to New Orleans hasn’t done too much to effect his minutes, though, as he still see roughly 30 a game. The real problem is simply in his offensive production, as he generally puts up under 10 points a game to go along with an average of 15 FP. However, he’s only $3,600 tonight and the guy has shown that he has 30+ fantasy point potential if he’s got his offensive game going. He’s as risky as a player can get, so use him at your own risk. But, I do believe he has the potential for a huge game against a lackluster Trail Blazers defense.

Tobias Harris ($6,000) – Harris has a “game time decision” stamp next to his name tonight and I think many are likely to pass on him because of it. However, he is expected to play today after being held out of practice yesterday. He’s been extremely consistent over his last 6 games, posting at least 27 fantasy points in each those contests. On Saturday he erupted for a monster 47.9 fantasy points against the Knicks and I think will be excited to keep his hot streak going tonight against the Cavaliers, a team that has actually been giving up a lot of fantasy points to opposing power forwards over their last 10 games. Make sure he’s playing before you lock him in, but if he is I love him tonight in tournaments.

Jahlil Okafor ($5,200) – Okafor has been playing well over his last 3 games, but I don’t necessarily think his price reflects that. He posted 26+ fantasy points in every game last week and draws a matchup tonight against a Golden State Warriors team that gives up 47 FP to centers per game. Okafor should easily flirt with 30+ fantasy points and has the potential to even get you over 40, making him an ideal play for his price tag.

Cash Plays

Patty Mills ($4,000) – Patty Mills was one of my stack players in the SA/GS game a few nights ago with all the stars out, expecting him to be a good value option that could hit 15-20 FP. He surprised me, however, by dropping 30 fantasy points for the 2^nd time in 3 games. Tonight, Tony Parker and Dejounte Murray are out yet again, allowing Mills to see as much court time as he can possibly handle. His price is only up to $4,000 and I think he will be the most heavily owned player on the slate. Make sure to get him into your lineups.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,700) – Giannis is the highest priced player on this slate along with John Wall. With no Westbrook, Harden, or LeBron I already feel his ownership will be slightly increased, but I’m mainly going to focus on his matchup tonight. The Memphis Grizzlies have struggled to defend point guards and shooting guards since the all-star break, as they are in the bottom 4 in fantasy points given up to both positions over that time. Specifically over their last 5 games they have given up 54.2 fantasy points a game to the shooting guard position, and 4 of those 5 shooting guards they faced were no where close to the skill set Giannis possesses. He should easily keep their streak of bad games going tonight at the FedEx Forum.

Brandon Ingram ($4,000) – Ingram reached value last night against the 76ers, but somehow his price went back down to 4k. Rather than mull over this, however, I’m going to talk about the fact that he has now posted at least 22 fantasy points in 4 straight games and draws a matchup with the Denver Nuggets tonight, a team that he dropped 33 fantasy points on the last time they met. Denver is currently giving up the 4^th most points in the league at 110.9 per game and I think this is an ideal matchup for Ingram. At the very least, he’ll offer value at the small forward position so you can reach up at other areas.

Nikola Jokic ($10,000) – Jokic is the beneficiary of a matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers tonight, a team that has given up the most fantasy points to opposing power forwards this season. This is a game I may be looking to stack just because there shouldn’t be any defense, meaning there will be plenty of fantasy points to go around for everybody. At Jokic’s 10k price he needs around 50 fantasy points to reach value. With Faried doubtful tonight and Wilson Chandler looking like he may not be able to play either I think Jokic should easily exceed his price tag. Even if one of them does play, though, I think he will still have a great game on the road tonight in Denver.

Karl Anthony-Towns ($10,500) – I’m sorry for another high-priced pick but I think KAT is in a great spot to do well tonight against the Washington Wizards tonight. He is getting between 40-50 fantasy points just about every game and, for a guy with his price tag, I’m not exactly expecting him to reach his full value every single night (which would be over 50 FP). His consistency mixed with his star potential make him a great play any day, my salary is just generally used up by higher priced guys like Westbrook or Harden. With KAT being one of the most expensive guys tonight he is definitely on my cash game pick radar and I’m going to do everything I can to get him into my lineup.

GPP Plays

Kemba Walker ($8,400) – Walker’s production has made him a DFS monster over the last 2 weeks. He has put up 40+ fantasy points in 6 of his last 7 games and gets a matchup tonight against the Chicago Bulls in Charlotte. The Bulls are giving up 56.7 FP a game to the point guard position over their last 5 games and facing Kemba Walker will not be the solution to any of their problems. He needs 42 to reach value tonight, which he should have absolutely no trouble doing for the 7^th time in 2 weeks.

Buddy Hield ($4,200) – It’s hard to say where Hield’s own % will fall tonight because we’ve seen his minutes fluctuate while on the Kings. With such a crowded backcourt in Sacramento it’s kind of amazing he even sees 20 minutes a game, but I think that is the minimum he’ll see tonight against Orlando. I’m focusing mainly on his minutes because if he’s given the court time he is a fantastic play, which is what we’ve seen over the last 2 games. In both contests he’s seen 30+ minutes and racked up 23+ fantasy points, which are both well above his averages. If Joerger keeps working him into the rotation we’re going to see his price start to steadily rise over the next few weeks. I think tonight is a good night to roll with Hield considering he’s still around 4k and the Kings have liked what they’ve seen out of their new rookie, meaning they are likely to keep giving him the court time he deserves.

Kent Bazemore ($4,300) – Bazemore always seems to play well against the exact teams you think he would struggle against, like the San Antonio Spurs team he faces tonight. The Spurs guard against the small forward position very well, so if Bazemore wants to do well he’s going to have his work cut out for him. He hasn’t been spectacular of late, but also hasn’t been awful considering his price tag. He hasn’t scored less than 16 FP in his last 4 games and he only needs around 21 to reach value tonight. I personally believe he carries significant upside with him and could be a great GPP play tonight in San Antonio.

Blake Griffin ($9,100) – No one is going to be rushing to get Blake Griffin into their lineups tonight given that he has a matchup against the Jazz, who are by far the best defensive team in the league. However, in his last matchup with them he put up a 26 point/10 rebound double-double and Los Angeles slipped by Utah 88-72. That game was in Utah, which is exactly where the Clippers will be tonight to take on the Jazz in their 4^th and final meeting of the season. Griffin should have a low own % tonight and makes for an ideal GPP play.

DeAndre Jordan ($7,400) – I’m going to keep my GPP center pick in Los Angeles and go with DeAndre Jordan of the Clippers. Coming off one of his best games of the season on Saturday (a 19 point/20 rebound effort against the 76ers), Jordan is probably eager to keep his hot streak going. He’ll have the same difficult task as Griffin going up against a tough Utah Jazz team. Part of the reason the Jazz are so good against big men is because they can stop the rebound game. However, in his last 2 meetings with them Jordan has put up 16 and 13 rebounds, while also averaging close to 10 points per game. Long story short, he keeps his season averages the same against them and carries some insane upside, like when we saw when he put up 57 fantasy points just last game.

Cash Plays

Damian Lillard ($9,000) – Lillard has scored 35+ fantasy points in his last 8 games and draws my favorite matchup of the night in the Suns. Phoenix has given up close to 64 FP a game to opposing point guards over their last 10 games and Lillard is in a great position to keep that streak going for them. With his price only up to $9,000 I think he will still be a heavily owned cash game play and is a guy I will be looking to get into my lineups tonight.

James Harden ($11,700) – Harden is the highest price player on tonight’s slate and definitely a guy I am not looking to fade. The last time he met with the Cavaliers was November of 2016, a game in which he put up over 70 fantasy points. That game was in Cleveland, but tonight he gets to matchup with them in Houston. It will be yet another night in which the Rockets rely heavily on Harden to keep them in the game, and I expect him to exceed his price tag of $11,700. He should get over 60 FP, but even if he doesn’t he will be a heavily owned guy that aren’t going to want to pass on tonight.

Maurice Harkless ($4,800) – This man is the definition of consistent. He has posted over 20 fantasy points in 9 of his last 10 games (the one he didn’t was a 19.8 FP effort against Utah). His price has been $4,800 for a while now and he only needs 24 to reach value for your lineup. There is absolutely no reason why he should struggle to do this with the court time he is given while Evan Turner is sidelined. He should see roughly 35 minutes again tonight against a Suns defense that is middle of the road when it comes to defending small forwards.

Kristaps Porzingis ($6,400) – Porzingis and the Knicks will be in Brooklyn tonight to take on the Nets, a team that is last or close to last in the league in fantasy points given up to every position. Against power forwards they are 2^nd worst in the league, giving up an average of 48.5 FP per game. Kristaps needs right around 32 to reach value for your lineup, and he shouldn’t have a problem doing that tonight at Barclay’s Center.

Alan Williams ($5,600) – Williams had a “bad” game last night in Dallas, putting up 22.5 fantasy points over 26 minutes. He’s seen a reduction in his court time over the last 3 games, going from 30+ in early March to minutes in the mid-20’s over his last 3 games. Tonight, Portland will be in town and I think Earl Watson will want to utilize Alan Williams’ ability to crash the boards to take chances away from the Trail Blazers rising star in Jusuf Nurkic. These are two guys I have heavily targeted in cash games over the last 2 weeks, but with Nurkic’s price now up over 7k I think Williams is the better option, which we will get to see tonight in Phoenix.

GPP Plays

Patrick Beverley ($5,400) – I love Patrick Beverley because he is a complete all-around point guard. He basically averages 10/5/5 and has had multiple games of 35+ to show upside for his price. He’s a very physical player and the Rockets are going to need to be physical tonight against a Cleveland Cavaliers team that is 1^st in the Eastern Conference. He’s playing decently well of late as well, posting 26+ fantasy points in 5 of his last 8 games. He needs right around that number to reach value tonight and I think he is an ideal tournament play at his price.

Allen Crabbe ($3,800) – The Phoenix/Portland game has the highest team total of the night at 235. There are going to be so many fantasy points up for grabs tonight that I don’t really see anyone from this game being a bad play, but as far as who I really like I’m going to go with Allen Crabbe at $3,800. He has posted at least 24 fantasy points in his last 3 games and his price doesn’t reflect his recent production. He’s been seeing right around 30 minutes a game and I think we can expect that from him again tonight. He needs 19 to reach value for your fantasy lineup, but if he has his shot working I see him getting much more.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson ($4,300) – I’m going to keep the GPP picks rolling with another value play in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. He hasn’t been particularly good over his last few games, but that definitely means he is due to produce tonight against a New York Knicks team that has been giving up the 2^nd most fantasy points to opposing small forwards over their last 5 games. He’s shown he has 30+ fantasy point upside, it just depends on how the Nets want to work him into the offense.

Larry Nance Jr. ($4,200) – I like any big man anytime they get a matchup with the 76ers, and that is the exact position Nance is in tonight. The power forward is priced just above 4k on Fanduel, but if he can put together a good game tonight his price should go up given that he would have a streak of good games going, having just posted 27.6 against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. If he is given the court time tonight I don’t see him having a trouble scoring 20 FP for your lineup and carrying serious upside for much more.

Ivaca Zubac ($4,000) – I’m going to keep my GPP center pick in LA and go with Ivaca Zubac. If you know anything about the Lakers you know that after Zubac has an okay game they like to give him a little extra run time the next time they take the court, and that is exactly what I think they are going to do tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers. He put up 14 points in 17 minutes the other night against the Suns, a nationally televised game that left many NBA fans wondering who the 19-year-old Croatian player even was. He is still a fairly risky pick tonight given that there is no guarantee Walton gives him increased run time, but I really like his matchup if he is given some court time.
