If you have played DFS enough, you will know that players can put up a dud in the best of matchups and that’s just what Clarkson did last night. On to the next day here where I’ll provide you BOTH SF’s I’m playing tonight because one, I feel bad about Clarkson, and two because I’m torn between who has the better matchup tonight. Both Mirtoic and Fournier are going to be playing at least 30 minutes tonight and need to each hover around that 25 fantasy point mark. I think that this happens and they will combine for over 50 fantasy points between the two of them tonight.

Clarkson is going to be one of my Shooting Guards that I lock into my lineups tonight. If you have been following me, you know that I love picking players against the Kings. Kobe also isn’t playing tonight which boosts Clarkson’s usage rate. This game will be close and high scoring. Clarkson needs 28.5 FDP to reach value tonight and I feel he will with a chance to reach the high 30’s. Make sure to get him in your lineups

Mack is my value play of the day today. He has just been too good as of late and draws a favorable matchup at home against a Cavs defense that hasn’t been good against point guards. Expect Mack to easily hit value today where he only needs 21.5 fantasy points

Bayless is my value play of the day today. He has been seeing all of the minutes he can with MCW and Vasquez out of the lineup. He draws a favorable matchup today against the Nets in what should be a high scoring game. He needs just over 20 Fantasy Points to reach value today and that will certainly happen today on this small slate. Lock him in today.

Faried didn’t seem to find the minutes he should of last night, but that’s the Nuggets for you. Minutes seem to fluctuate at random times with that team. Lets turn a new page and look at tonights play. Brook Lopez has a mouth-watering matchup tonight against the 76ers that has no worry of a blowout for once. Both teams are poor, but draw a lot of favorable DFS matchups on paper. I think Lopez has the best matchup out of these guys and should be in for a big night. If you look at his game log, you will see a few 50’s up there so you know he’s capable. He needs 43.5 FDP tonight to reach value and I think this happens with a good chance of him getting over 50.

Last week Barnes was the pick at SF and put up a solid dude of 6 points. While I still like him tonight, I feel that LeBron has the best spot at the SF position tonight. This game is going to involve a lot of scoring and LeBron will be the focal point of it. He is set up for a great matchup agains the defenseless Kings tonight. What really opens my eyes here in this matchup is the small spread of -6.5 and the big o/u of 216.5. LeBron will be all over place and the Cavs will need to fully utilize his abilities if they want to win this trap game against the Kings. He needs 50.5 FDP to reach value tonight and I feel as if this won’t be an issue for him tonight. He is coming off of a bizarre loss against the Grizzlies bench a couple of nights ago and he will do everything in his power to make sure the Cavs don’t fall into a spell in a crucial part of the season. Don’t be surprised if LeBron puts up one of the highest fantasy scoring nights of his season tonight.

Oladipo is my must play shooting guard tonight. He’s coming off of a strong game against the best team in the NBA in the Warriors. He will playing the Lakers tonight in an above average matchup for him. This game has a high o/u of 212.5 with a close spread meaning starters will be playing a lot of minutes. I expect Oladipo to be all over the court tonight racking up the steals and shot attempts. He has a price of $6,600 meaning he needs 33 FDP to reach value tonight. I think he conquers this task without an issue. We all know that he can put up 50 fantasy points in good matchups. Don’t be surprised if he dished out the 50 burger tonight for you.

Jrue Holiday is the man to roster tonight in the PG spot. He will be starting for the first time tonight at SG but should end up running point for a good portion of the game due to his superior ability over Norris Cole. The minutes have been there for him ever since he came back from his injury and he has been one of the most consistent Fanduel players at under $8,000 all year. He needs 37 FDP (7.4×5) to reach value tonight. Given the matchup against the Kings who don’t like to play defense, Holiday should see a fully complimentary of minutes and usage rate next to Anthony Davis all game.
