Is it really a surprise that I’m rolling with one of the Mets today? They have been extremely hot offensively and have done nothing but keep that going against the embarrassing Braves pitching staff. I think Cespedes has a very good chance of hitting another homer tonight against Matt Wisler who sports a 4.26 ERA. Cespedes is batting .297 in his last 10 games with 9 extra base hits including 5 homeruns. The Mets are coming into this one with a lot of swag offensively and should be able to put a crooked number on that scoreboard. Sit back and watch Cespedes rake tonight.
Pence should be in for a nice game tonight against Brandon Finnegan and the Reds. Finnegan is one of the lowest priced pitchers on FanDuel, meaning that he’s projected to get hit around tonight. Pence is batting .382 in his last 10 games with 7 extra base hits ( 3 doubles, 3 HR’s, 1 triple). He has been hot as of late and can do anything offensively whether it’s stealing bases or hitting for power. I think that he is too good of a player to be priced under $4,000 and I feel that he won’t be very highly owned tonight. Pence should be able to produce for your lineup tonight and put you in a good spot to win some cash.
Ryan Braun is my slugger of the day facing Adam Conley of the Miami Marlins. Braun has been hot as of late, batting .466 in his last 9 games with 2 HR’s and 3 doubles. Braun is a lefty masher and is 4-5 against Conley in his career. Also, he’s at home where he bats a cool .350 at a field where the ball seems to fly out of the park. Braun is a tad expensive on Fanduel, but he’s worth it tonight. Expect Braun to put up a satisfying number.
Travis Shaw is my slugger for tonight’s slate. At a $3,000 salary price, he’s one of the top value guys out there. He’s hitting .333 in his last 10 games and has shown that he can hit the ball anywhere in the ballpark especially at Fenway Park. With the Red Sox putting up boat loads of runs lately and guys being on base left and right, Shaw should be able to find himself in that mix of production once again tonight. Can you say “Bye Panda”?
