Cash Plays
Russell Westbrook ($13,500) – Again, it almost doesn’t even need to be said tonight, but between Westbrook and Harden, Russ is the clear cut cash game play as he chases history against the Denver Nuggets. He missed his 42nd triple-double of the season by 2 assists last game, but this game in Denver could be his last really good chance at obtaining the record. He should have another insanely high own % and you’re not going to want to pass on him.
Devin Booker ($8,100) – Booker’s price once again has not moved. I don’t know what else Fanduel wants us to do other than plug this guy into our lineups. He’s scored 33+ fantasy points in 8 straight games and has scored 40+ in 4 of his last 5. The kid is simply shooting too much to pass on him at this price. He’ll be facing a Dallas Mavericks team tonight that has allowed the 7th most fantasy points to shooting guards in their last 5 games.
Andrew Wiggins ($7,700) – Wiggins has absolutely destroyed the lakers in their previous meetings this season, and he gets another chance to do that tonight at the Staples Center. Neither team had anything to play for, so you can count on the young bucks on both sides getting a lot of court time tonight. Wiggins needs 38 to reach value, and he should easily be able to do that against Los Angeles’ weak defense.
Larry Nance Jr. ($4,300) – Nance is another guy who’s price didn’t move, which is surprising considering the hot streak he’s on to finish the season. He’s scored 20+ fantasy points in each of his last 4 games, and that’s all he needs to reach value again tonight. Plug him into you cash game lineup and watch the kid go to work tonight against the Timberwolves.
Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,200) – With the season winding down its hard to know whether or not teams are going to try and rest their guys for playoffs. I hate to give you another high-priced cash game guy, but KAT just seems like the safest center tonight for his matchup with the Lakers. As previously noted, the T-Wolves are not a team looking to rest their guys. KAT has an elite matchup tonight against a weak Lakers defense and is definitely a star to at least consider as a safe cash play.
